Patiala: The National Theatre Arts Society (NTAS) organised their 269th Annual Winter Theatre Garden Natak Mela in association with Sarbat Da Bhalla Charitable Trust. Plays were staged over a period of one month as part of the event. "Pardushan Hatao-Pani Bachao", "Viksat Bharat", and "Sabhachta Abiyan", which were presented by Sunita and Pran Sabharwal, and "Kirat Da Satikar" by Dr Harcharan Singh were highly appreciated.

City judoka shines at school games

Patiala: City judoka Harnoor Kaur Nagra won two gold medals at the 68th National School Games. She won the top medal in the under-17 judo event held at NSRCC Stadium in Agartala, Tripura, from December 12 to 15. She grabbed another gold medal in under-17 63kg plus category of the kurash event held at Raipur (Chhattisgarh) from January 2-6.
