Nagar kirtan taken out on eve of Sirhind Fateh Diwas

Fatehgarh Sahib, January 13

A nagar kirtan was taken out by Amar Shaheed Baba Sukha Singh Welfare Committee on the eve of Sirhind Fateh Diwas. Led by the Panj Piaras, the kirtan was taken out from Gurdwara Shaheed Baba Sukha Singh and a large number of devotees participated in it. School bands, gatka teams, Nihangs, Kirtani Jathas, Sukhmani Sahib Sewa Societies and various social, religious and political leaders joined the nagar kirtan. The main attraction of the procession was a display of martial arts by Nihangs. Passing through different areas, the nagar kirtan received a grand welcome from the residents. It concluded at Gurdwara Shri Jyoti Swaroop Sahib, where ardas was performed.

Bhai Harpal Singh, head granthi of Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib, said kirtan darbar will be organised on January 14 in Gurdwara Sahib from 9 am to 3 pm, wherein renowned Kirtan Jathas will perform.
