Action on SOS

Surbhi Malik, in-charge, Covid isolation ward, said they had to technically examine the oxygen flow at the Covid ward after one of the doctors at the ward flagged inadequate oxygen flow at the fifth floor in an SOS.

Surbhi Malik said: “We are technically examining the issue of oxygen flow at the Covid ward. We wouldn’t let any lax happen therein. Moreover, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) concerned has regularly been checking the oxygen flow.”

Surbhi Malik further added that none of the senior anaesthetists had ever raised the issue of oxygen flow with them.

The doctor had said there were some issues in the flow of oxygen and requested the authorities to look into it and take appropriate action.
