Fatehgarh Sahib, August 4
Over 20 people were bitten by a stray dog during the ongoing Kar Sewa of cleaning the Sarovar at the historical Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib today.
Dr Sanpreet Kaur said several dog-bite victims came on Sunday. All the injured were administered vaccines at the civil hospitaland instructed to continue their vaccination.
Those injured were identified as Ramandeep Kaur, Sukhbir Singh, Mandeep Singh, Harsimran Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Rajpreet Kaur, Shabana, Mandeep Singh, Ravi Krishan and Prabhjot Singh.
Lakhwinder Singh said Kar Sewa started at 8 am and a large number of devotees participated in it. He added that all of a sudden, a dog started biting people. They tried to hit the dog but he bit more than 20 people one after the other. — OC
