Patiala fencer Ena Arora brought laurels to the city by bagging a silver medal in the Epee Women Individual Event in the Senior National Fencing Competition held in Kerala.

Presently, Ena Arora is working as an Excise and Taxation Inspector with the Government of Punjab.

“I am thankful to my family and trainers who have always ensured that I get the best coaching. My parents have sacrificed a lot for me. I am always happy winning a medal and doing my bit for them,” she said.

The Fencing Association of India with the collaboration of the Kerala Fencing Association organised a Senior National Fencing competition at Kannur (Kerala) from December 31 to January 3, 2025. Competitions are held in three different events (weapons) that include Epee, Foil and Sabre. The competitions are conducted in individual events. In the said championship, players of 27 states had participated.

Brahm Mahindra, President of the Punjab Fencing Association, congratulated Ena Arora for her achievement. “Ena has worked hard from the past decade. She has been winning medals in various fencing competition at the national and international level,” Brahm Mahindra said.
