Part of the outer boundary wall of New Moti Bagh Palace, the residence of former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and local MP Preneet Kaur, collapsed amid rain coupled with strong winds here this morning. No one was injured in the incident.

A road along the residence was blocked by the debris. It is learnt the former CM and Patiala MP were not present at the residence when the incident took place.

Mild rain accompanied by gusty winds lashed the city in the morning hours, damaging buildings and uprooting trees.
