With an objective to strengthen enforcement, PEPSU Road Transport Corporation (PRTC) Chairman Ranjodh Singh Hadana flagged off five new cars at the PRTC headquarters in Patiala today.

He said the new cars were added to further strengthen the central flying squad of the enforcement wing for the purpose of checking buses.

Sharing further details, Hadana said the PRTC operated its bus service in Punjab and eight other states day and night. These new cars would make it easier for the checking staff to check buses at any time of the day/night. This would help curb those miscreants who are defrauding the PRTC’s revenue, and will also increase the department’s income.
