Punjabi University extends last date for submission of fee to June 23

After students’ protests and in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, Punjabi University has now decided to extend the last date for the collection of fee to June 23 for the upcoming semester.

Earlier, the university had decided to collect fee from students of Semester III, V and VII of several departments, including Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Punjab School of Law. Following this, students of various organisations raised the matter with the university administration demanding extension in the last date for the payment of fee.

In its June 7 notification, the university extended the last date for the submission of fee to June 23. — TNS
