RGNUL-Patiala wins Oxford Monroe E Price Media Law moot court

The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) has won the Oxford Monroe E Price Media Law moot court competition 2021-22. Anmol Mahajan, Wamic Wasim Nargal, Aaryan Goyal, Abhigyan Tripathi, Satvik Mishra and Kanika Bansal were the team members. The competition was organised by the University of Oxford from June 6 to 10.
University officials said the RGNUL team was one of the 10 teams to be selected on the basis of memorial for taking part in the South Asia Rounds. “The team competed with NUJS Kolkata in the semi-finals and NALSAR Hyderabad in the final round. Anmol Mahajan was adjudged the best speaker in the competition as well as the finals of South Asia Rounds”, they said.
“Twenty seven teams from eight regions of the world, including three from South Asia, were selected to compete in the World Rounds,” they said. The RGNUL team surpassed three teams to reach the semi-final round where it competed with the Singapore Management University and NALSAR Hyderabad.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof GS Bajpai congratulated the team for bringing laurels to the institution.
