Roads leading to gurdwara to be recarpeted soon

All roads within 7 km radius of the historical Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib will be re-carpeted before the Shaheedi Jor Mela. Surinder Singh, XEN, PWD, said the tender process in this regard had been initiated. He said besides this, the rural roads would also be repaired.

SDO Harjinder Singh said the tender for the rehabilitation of the road from Khanda Chowk to Sirhind-Chandigarh bypass and from Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib to Roza Sharif had also been issued.
