The Annual Day celebration ‘Voyage of culture’ was held at Gems Public School. The event was a vibrant showcase of global diversity, wherein students performed artistic representations of various countries, taking the audience on a cultural journey across the world.

The performances, which included dances from various countries, highlighted the richness of global heritage and the talent of the students. Parents attended the function to support their children and enjoy their incredible performances. Dr Rajan Singla, Director Principal of Government Medical College Patiala, along with High Court advocate A.S. Kler, was the chief guest.

In the annual report, the principal briefed the guests about the school’s achievements during the past year. The celebration concluded with applause from the audience, acknowledging the hard work of students and teachers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
