A private school bus — with about 20 students on board — skidded off the road and fell into a drain near Duladdi village in Nabha.

All the students travelling in the bus were safely rescued. The bus was on its way to the school, picking up students from villages in the Nabha area, when it suddenly overturned. As soon as the incident occurred, residents of nearby villages and commuters rushed to the spot. The school staff and police also arrived at the scene.

One of the students on the bus said that a vehicle suddenly came from the opposite direction, and when the driver tried to move aside, the bus overturned and fell into a drain. The driver immediately broke a window to get the children out.
