A handicrafts exhibition, featuring items created by students, was organised at Punjabi University ahead of Diwali. This exhibition was set up by a sub-group ‘Rural Tourism and Traditional Artifacts’ of the university’s ‘Entrepreneur Innovation and Career Hub’ (EICH).
The exhibition was inaugurated by Dean of Academic Affairs Prof Narinder Kaur Multani and Registrar Prof Sanjeev Puri.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Multani praised the students’ efforts, stating that such initiatives helped students develop an understanding of crafts and taught them the skill and lesson of working with their hands.
She added that when students participated in creating handicrafts, it cultivated a sense of finesse, which was a key element of a good and sensitive personality.
