Three held for man’s murder
The district police claimed to have solved the mystery behind a murder that took place in Hussainpura village of Bassi Pathana on November 13. The body of the deceased was recovered from a drain near Alampur village. The police arrested the victim’s wife and her two accomplices for the crime.
Bassi Pathana DSP Raj Kumar Sharma said on November 13, Kulwinder Singh of Hussainpura filed a complaint after finding his brother Sukhdev Singh’s body in Alampur. Sukhdev lived separately from the family along with his wife, Kuldeep Kaur, and children, claimed Kulwinder in the complaint.
During investigation, the police arrested Kuldeep Kaur and her accomplices, identified as Gurpreet Singh and Harjaspreet Singh, alias Jaspreet Singh, residents of Bhoje Majra village, in the case.
