The orders, issued today by Civil Judge (Junior Division) Jaspreet Singh Minhas, follows a January 23, 2024, decision whereby the court directed the Punjab Government to pay Rajesh Rs 6,16,969 in outstanding dues, along with interest at the rate of 9%.

As the payment was not made, the petitioner sought the court’s intervention. The next hearing for this case is scheduled for August 11.

According to advocate Puneet Sharma, the court documents list the movable properties of Government High School, Majal Kalan, located in Patiala district, to be attached for the recovery. This includes 20 fans, 30 chairs, four coolers, three air-conditioners, 10 almirahs, five tables, four computers, three printers and other office equipment.

The warrant directs the authorised court official to confiscate the listed items if the department fails to pay the outstanding amount. The execution report is to be submitted on or before August 11.
