The protest continued till morning prompting the university authorities to swing into action. Soon, a temporary arrangement of water was made to ease the problem.
Sharing their plight, students said that there was an acute shortage of water in the washrooms for the past few days which has triggered serious hygiene issues in the university.
Some of the students were visiting washrooms located in other locations of the campus in the university to answer nature’s call or physical needs.
