Workshop dwells on enhancing work efficiency

The Department of the Distance Education and Women Study Centre, Punjabi University, have started a national faculty development workshop, which focusses on enhancing work efficiency through holistic health. The workshop that started on August 2, was inaugurated by AK Tiwari, Dean Academic, and Parmod Kumar, Finance Officer, will continue till August 8.

University officials said they were delivering lectures during workshops on mental health and first aid for psychological disorders. Officials discussed ‘sufism’, spirituality and the need to have a healthy mind in addition to physical health to increase work efficiency at the workplace as well as in personal lives.
