Rohtak, August 22

Once allies in the coalition government for around four and a half years, BJP and JJP leaders are now leaving no chance to take potshots at each other.

CM Nayab Singh Saini has taken a dig at former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala by posting his video on ‘X’ with a caption that ‘Hooda aur Dushyant dono aapas mae apne pet ke liye lad rahe hai Pradesh ke liye nahi (Hooda and Dushyant are fighting each other to serve their personal interests, not the state’s)’.

In his 1.25 minute video, Saini said both — Hooda saheb and Dushyant saheb — were fighting each other and levelling allegations against each other.

“They are fighting to serve their personal interest, not the state’s... both will get united in case they feel that the BJP may lose, but people of Haryana have made up their mind to form the BJP government with overwhelming majority for the third time,” said the CM in the video.

Later, Dushyant replied to the CM on his ‘X’ handle in a poetic manner that “Vaakif ho jaaoge Haryana ke haal se, aap chunav lad kar dekhiye Karnal se (You will know about the situation of Haryana, try contesting from Karnal)”.

Dushyant’s remark apparently came in reference to the speculation that Saini may contest poll from other than the Karnal constituency. However, the CM in Panchkula yesterday said the parliamentary board of the BJP decides who contested from where? Dushyant has lately been attacking Saini and the BJP over several issues.
