Voter apathy or systemic failure in Bihar SIR?
THE ongoing revision of Bihar's electoral rolls has revealed a troubling gap between the scale of exclusions and the response to them. Of the nearly 65 lakh voters left out of the draft rolls published on August 1, the Election Commission of India (ECI) says only 1.40 lakh claims and objections have been filed so far. This is barely a sliver of those affected, raising questions about both public awareness and institutional accountability.
