The administration has introduced token service charges at Saral Kendras in Hisar and other subdivisions in the district recently. Visitors have to pay Rs 200 for a token to get their work related to all transport files, including driving licences, vehicle registration etc done. Some persons complained to the state authorities that these charges were not levied anywhere in the state and thus demanded a rollback.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
