Posts vacant, but no jobs

We cleared the tests in 2016 and our documents were verified. Thousands of posts of constable are vacant, but the government has failed to give us jobs. — Jagdeep Singh, protester

“We cleared the mandatory tests in 2016 and our documents were verified in 2017. Thousands of posts of constable are lying vacant, but the government has failed to give us jobs,” said Jagdeep Singh, one of the protesters on fast.
