Chandigarh: Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu on Wednesday issued appointment letters to 105 specialist doctors on the basis of a walk-in interview. Sidhu said the specialists included 16 in medicine, five in TB and chest, 45 anaesthetist, two radiologists, 11 pediatricians and 26 gynaecologists. They are all appointed as medical officer (specialist). The minister said soon the vacancies of surgeons, ophthalmologists, orthopaedic surgeons, psychiatrists and dermatologists etc. would be filled. tns
