10K patients examined in January, Malout Civil Hospital gets ‘A’ grade

Malout Civil Hospital has earned an ‘A’ grade from the Department of Health for its “exemplary treatment of a higher number of patients”.
Cabinet Minister Dr Baljit Kaur today said that Malout Civil Hospital has excelled in various aspects, including daily check-ups, ultrasounds, medical tests, surpassing other government hospitals. She further said that Malout Civil Hospital has even surpassed the district hospital at Muktsar, particularly in serving pregnant women.
Giving details for January 2024, the minister said that Malout Civil Hospital served 10,430 patients in the OPD, 890 in the IPD, with various medical tests and procedures performed.
Dr Sunil Bansal, SMO, Malout Civil Hospital, said, “We examined a total of 992 patients in the OPD today. The services have become far better with the personal intervention of our local MLA and cabinet minister Dr Baljit Kaur.”
