Moga, February 24

A 13-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped by some unknown persons from her native Badhni Kalan village in Nihalsinghwala subdivision of Moga district, the police said here, on Monday.

A case under Sections 363 and 366A of the IPC has been registered against unidentified persons at the Badhni Kalan police station.

Investigating officer ASI Manpreet Kaur said efforts were on to trace the girl. The police were questioning the girl’s friends in hope of finding some clues. — TNS
