15 trains cancelled, short-terminated in Punjab

The Railways has cancelled, short-terminated and diverted at least 15 trains in Punjab due to the ongoing farmers’ agitation.

According to information, the 05211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Express Special Train will remain cancelled on Wednesday. Consequently, the 05612 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express Special Train will not run on January 8, officials said.

The 08237 Korba-Amritsar Express Train will remain cancelled on January 6 and January 8 while the 08238 Amritsar-Korba Express Train will also remain cancelled on January 8 and January 10.

The 02715 Nanded-Amritsar Express Train will be short-terminated in New Delhi on January 6. The 02716 Amritsar-Nanded Express Train will short-originate from New Delhi on January 8 and remain partially cancelled on the New Delhi-Amritsar-New Delhi route.

The 02407 New Jalpaiguri-Amritsar Express Train will be short-terminated in Ambala on January 6. Consequently, the 02408 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express will

start from Ambala on January 8 and remain partially cancelled between Ambala and Amritsar.

The 04654 Amritsar-New Jalpaiguri Express Special Train will short-originate from Saharanpur on January 6, officials said.

The 02903 Mumbai Central-Amritsar Express Special Train will be diverted via the Beas-Tarn Taran-Amritsar route on January 5. The 02904 Amritsar-Mumbai Central Express Special Train will be diverted via the Amritsar-Tarn Taran-Beas route on January 6.
