With this, over 15,000 Britishers will be brought back from India via 59 charter flights, said an announcement by the British High Commission.

The repatriation will begin from May 5 and will continue for seven consecutive days.

Acting British High Commissioner to India Jan Thompson said only those bookings would be considered which had been made through the British government’s online booking portal. — TNS
