2 booked for impersonation

The Faridkot police have registered a criminal case under Sections 417, 419 and 420 (cheating and dishonesty) against two women for alleged impersonation during a recruitment test for the post of senior assistant at Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences, Mohali. They have been identified as Priyanka of Sangrur and Sujata of Hisar district in Haryana.
The case was filed by the principal of a nursing college here, where the recruitment test was conducted yesterday.
The principal alleged that during the verification of the roll numbers and other documents of candidates, it was found that in place of Priyanka, Sujata was writing the test. The police have arrested Sujata.
Earlier in October, a question paper for the recruitment of medical officers (dental) was leaked.
