Inspector Satish Kumar said a police team had put up a checkpoint on the Chak Maujdin Wala-Surghur road that links Jalalabad-Bahmani Wala Road near the Indo-Pak border. A black-coloured motorcycle was stopped for checking. The cops found a bag with which contained a small carry bag having the marking of Bedroom Accessories, Lahore. The search resulted in the recovery of two hand grenades wrapped in yellow tape and bronze wire. Frisking of one of the bikers further helped in the recovery of a Austria-made Glock 9mm pistol and two live cartridges.
