Moga, September 22

The Moga police have arrested two drug peddlers and seized at least 2,500 intoxicating pills from them. A police party of the Baghapurana CIA staff, on a tip-off, seized the intoxicants from the accused when they went to Samalsar village to deliver the consignment. The accused have been identified as Manvir Singh of Bambiha Bhai village and Jaswinder Singh of Sahoke village. The police have registered a case under Sections 22, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act. Further, investigation is on. — TNS
