Abohar, October 23

The city police have arrested two persons for allegedly being involve in snatching and theft cases near Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk on old tehsil road here.

Identified as Gora Singh and Kuldeep Singh of Chanankhera village, they revealed during questioning that they were allegedly involved in snatching mobile phones and stealing two-wheeler.

A stolen motorcycle and a Jupiter scooter have been recovered from them.

The accused have been booked under Sections 379 and 379B of the IPC. – OC
