Abohar, November 20

The police in Abohar seized 22 kg of poppy husk from Kali, a resident of Adarsh Nagar, and Malkiat Singh, a resident of Baba Jiwansingh Nagar in Muktsar, by intercepting the truck they were travelling in that entered Abohar from Sriganganagar.

Five kg poppy husk was seized from Kamaljit Singh of Boghewala in Kot Isekhan tehsil in Moga district.

Deepak of Nanak Nagari here was nabbed with 10 gm heroin. All were held under the Narcotic Drugs and other Psychotropic Substances Act.
