Fazilka, February 4

Acting swiftly, Fazilka police recovered 25 kg copper, 50 ft welding wire, 50 kg bronze bushes and some iron material stolen from three different shops during the corresponding night of February 2 and 3.

According to SHO Lekh Raj Ajooba, Suraj Kumar, a resident of Penchan Wali village, Ajay, Kranti and Kundan, residents of Fish Market, Malout road, were booked for theft on Saturday. Out of the five suspects, Ajooba, Suraj and Ajay were arrested today while two are yet to be nabbed.
