The BSF seized three drones and 1.11 kg of heroin, stashed in two packets, in Ferozepur sector.

The BSF officials said acting on a tip-off, a joint search operation was carried out with the Punjab Police. During hunt, 560 grams of heroin was seized from the fields near Chudi Wala village.

The BSF officials said a drone and another packet of heroin was seized from fields near Daal village in Tarn Taran district.

“While one drone was seized from near Jakharwan village, another was found in the fields near Bhaini Rajputana village in Amritsar district,” said the BSF officials.

On April 20, the BSF jawans had seized 1.29 kg of heroin and had nabbed a smuggler near Habib Wala village in this sector.
