3 held for Shiv Sena youth leader’s death

The police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three persons in connection with the death of Punjab Shiv Sena youth leader Shiv Kumar Shiva of Muktsar, whose body was found on the Bura Gujjar road here on December 6.

Those arrested were Ramandeep Singh, Ankush and Sukhwinder Nikku, all residents of Muktsar and friends of the deceased.

Shiva left his residence on December 5, but never returned. The family had alleged that he was killed after being administered some poisonous substance. A case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder was registered on Friday.
