A 30-year-old man was killed with sharp-edged weapon at his house near Shyodanpura village in Hanumangarh on Monday night.

The deceased has been identified as Ugrasain Jat. The police have arrested nephew of the deceased, Rajesh, who allegedly had illicit relationship with wife of Ugrasain.

Hanumangarh SSP Arshad Ali said murder case had been registered against Rajesh, on the basis of the statement of Bhimsain, elder brother of the deceased.

After conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to the family members.
