3rd Oxygen Express to arrive today
Ferozepur, May 23
The third “Oxygen Express” carrying 42.10 MT liquid medical oxygen will reach Phillaur tomorrow. Rajesh Aggarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, said the Northern Railway had been operating these trains to ensure oxygen for Covid patients.
He said the special train having two cryogenic tanks full of liquid medical oxygen started its journey from Bokaro in Jharkhand yesterday at 11 pm and was expected to reach Phillaur by tomorrow. He said this train would cover 1,400 km. “As this liquid oxygen has to be transported in a limited time period, the authorities have made all arrangements accordingly,” he said. — OC
