4 held with 240 kg poppy husk

The police have seized 240 kg poppy husk from the possession of four persons. A pick-up van and a motorcycle used in smuggling drugs have also been impounded.
The accused have been identified as Imta Ram Jat, a resident of Bandhanau village in Sardarshahar, Om Prakash Jat, a resident of Gidichiya village, Inder Sain of Gorkhana village in Hanumangarh and Ravindra Jat of Dolewala Bass in Nohar.
Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan said a police team led by Sub-Inspector Sushil Kumar arrested four occupants of the pick-up van at Pallu. A total of 240 kg of poppy husk has been seized from them.
Sangwan said they would interrogate the accused to find their forward and backward links.
