50 realtors to be given approval letters at camp

The Punjab Housing Department will organise the first of its kind mega camp for handing over approval letters to over 50 realtors in Chandigarh on October 16.

Principal Secretary (Housing) Rahul Tewari has directed the department to hold such camps every two months for the disposal of applications of realtors in a time-bound manner.

The move will address concern of the realtors who had been conveying to CM Bhagwant Mann that their applications remained pending with the Housing Department.

Now, the CM has given the Housing portfolio to newly inducted minister Hardeep Singh Mundian. At the camp in Chandigarh, the realtors would be handed over the approval letters in the presence of Mundian and Chief Secretary KAP Sinha.
