The 65th Panjab University Youth and Heritage Festival (Zone-B) was inaugurated on Wednesday jointly by the principals of various colleges of education by lighting the lamps at Maharishi Dayanand College of Education.
Pursuing the theme of ‘Unity in Duty, Excellence in Service’, students from 31 colleges are set to participate in the four-day festival.
The college director, Dr RP Asija, said group ‘shabad’ singing, ‘bhajan’, instrumental, and vocal music competitions were held on the first day.
The principal, Dr Sunita Arya, welcomed the participants and educationists who reached the venue today.
