Chandigarh, April 17

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann handed over appointment letters to 718 newly recruited officers/employees of Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) here on Sunday.

Earlier, Mann congratulated the new recruits on the PSTCL foundation day and exhorted the youth to come forward to contribute towards rebuilding the state.

Welcoming the CM and the recruits, Power Minister Harbhajan Singh said the transmission capacity of the PSTCL would be enhanced to 39,588 MW in 2022 as compared to 38,160 MW in 2021. —
