A 95-year-old-Nihang died at Singhu border early on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Sohan Singh of Muridke village in Gurdaspur. He had stayed at the border with the Nihang groups since February.

Said to be a cancer patient, Sohan had retired from the Army and was unmarried. He slept in his tent after taking medicine on Thursday night but did not wake up in the morning. The Kundli police handed over the body to his family after a postmortem at the General Hospital here.
