Chandigarh, January 23

AAP launched a scathing attack on SAD president Sukhbir Badal and leader Bikram Majithia for telling lies on the issue of Davinder Pal Singh Bhullar’s release. AAP called their lies an attempt to create unrest in the state.

AAP spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang along with party spokespersons Govinder Mittal and Vikram Passi said Akali leaders were in agony because they had been rejected by the people of the state.

Kang said that there was a seven-member sentence review board for the matter related to Bhullar’s release, which has AAP’s Delhi Jail Minister Kailash Gehlot as member while six others belong to the BJP. Kang, showing the minutes of the board meeting, told the media that only the AAP minister demanded the premature release of Bhullar.
