Thought-provoking Opinions, Expert Analysis, In-depth Insights and other Member Only BenefitsDays after AAP Punjab Affairs in-charge Manish Sisodia’s video surfaced wherein he allegedly asked party workers to use “Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed” to win the 2027 Assembly poll, state president Aman Arora today downplayed the incident.
Addressing mediapersons, Arora said the Opposition had made a mountain out of molehill. “It’s one thing that the video has come out, but tell me, do politicians leave any stone unturned to win the elections?” said Arora, adding that it’s not hidden from anyone on how leaders of other parties have won the elections in the past.
Arora said in the 2027 Assembly poll, they would seek votes in the name of development and welfare works undertaken by the CM Bhagwant Mann-led AAP government. “We will go to the people by showcasing our works. We are sure of winning their confidence,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Opposition has brought Sisodia’s video in the notice of the Election Commission.
