The state’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) won the Dera Baba Nanak Municipal Council poll, bagging nine of the 13 seats there.
Meanwhile, the contest ended up in a draw in Talwara, where both AAP and the Congress won six seats each. The BJP registered win in one ward.
In the Tarn Taran civic body elections, the Independents held sway, bagging 13 of 25 seats, while AAP won from eight wards and the Congress from three.
Earlier in the day, all three civic bodies recorded moderate voter turnout.
According to officials, Tarn Taran recorded 54.06 per cent voter turnout, while Dera Baba Nanak (Gurdaspur) and Talwara (Hoshiarpur) saw 73.50 per cent and 61.31 per cent voter participation, respectively.
A spokesperson of the state election commission said re-polling for Ward No. 3 in Tarn Taran would be held on March 4, followed by the counting of votes.
Earlier, the poll panel said the elections were conducted peacefully.
