Dr KK Talwar, health adviser to the state government, said, “People will have to apply for the vaccine as per the co-morbidities listed by the government. Amputees are not categorised under the co-morbidities or disease. However, an effort should certainly be made by the government to find out and reach out to those who can’t make it to a hospital on their own. There will be certainly many who need help in getting vaccinated and can’t travel alone.”
