After Sidhu Moosewala’s killing, 3 Mansa traders get ‘extortion’ calls in name of Lawrence Bishnoi
Mansa, June 13
After the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, traders in Mansa are allegedly getting extortion calls in the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Three traders have reported the matter to the police. One trader had alleged that callers sought Rs 5 lakh from him, Rs 2 lakh from the other and Rs 70,000 from the third one.
To calm down the panicky traders, SSP Gaurav Toora reached at a traders’ meeting, where he assured them of full protection and safety.
According to police, jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is the mastermind in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead in Mansa district on May 29.
