All 8 blast incidents targeting police installations solved: Punjab DGP Yadav
Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on Monday said all eight bomb blast incidents targeting police installations had been solved.
He said 14 accused belonging to the Babbar Khalsa Inernational (BKI) and Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) had been arrested.
“We have thwarted the new conspiracy by Pakistan’s ISI and terrorist groups to disturb law and order in Punjab,” Yadav announced in a video message on social media.
He said five terrorist modules, having handlers in the US, Canada and Europe besides in Pakistan were responsible for the eight blasts in which grenades and RDX were used.
“Three of these modules belong to the BKI while two to the KZF. Two AK-47 rifles, five grenades, two Glock pistols and 1.04 kg of heroin were recovered from them,” he added.
The DGP asked the public to be alert against such conspiracies.
