Sangrur, March 1

In an appeal filed by Punjab Cabinet Minister Aman Arora against his sentence in an assault case, Sessions Judge, Sangrur, RS Rai today fixed the next date of hearing on March 15.

Yogesh Gupta, counsel for minister Arora, said he had filed an application in the sessions court, seeking exemption from appearance for Arora because of the Vidhan Sabha Session. Gupta said the court had fixed the next date for further proceedings in this case.
