Amloh MLA Gurinder Singh Garry Warring was confronted by activists of the BKU (Sidhupur) at Uchi Roorkee village on Thursday. Warring had come to inaugurate the newly constructed wall in the village school under the ‘Sikhya Kranti’ programme. The farmers protested by expressing anger over the March 19 police crackdown on the protesting farmers at Shambhu and Khanauri borders. Farmers alleged that their trolleys and belongings went missing during the operation. They raised slogans like 'trolly chor Murdabad'. The MLA very politely listened to their grievances and assured that "the government is always with them and supports their demands".
