Amritpal Singh's uncle condemns viral fake letter proposing Sikh-BJP partnership

The family of "Waris Punjab De" chief Amritapl Singh have decided to lodged a complain with the Cyber Police for action regarding a fake letter that allegedly proposed a Sikh-BJP partnership.

The viral letter alleged that Amritpal Singh had a discussion with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah during the oath-taking ceremony in Delhi, and claimed that he proposed a purely Sikh political party joining forces with the BJP to work for the welfare of Punjabis.

"The letter is fake," said Sukhchain Singh, Amritpal Singh's uncle.

"These are not his signatures. We are complaining to the Cyber Police for action regarding the fake letter," he said.

Sukhchain Singh, who is a retired Inspector of the Punjab Police, added that the main demands mentioned in the letter were the release of imprisoned Sikhs and punishment for those responsible for the 1984 riots.

The conviction of Sajjan Kumar was part of this pursuit. The fake letter, allegedly forged by Amritpal's uncle Sukhchain Singh, advocates an alliance between Amritpal's political party and the BJP.

It reads, "We should leave the issue of Khalistan for now and focus on securing more rights for Punjab. In the future, we must become politically strong. Let us attain power and then discuss the progress of Punjab under the provisions of the Indian Constitution. We also need to make agreements. If we have to make an agreement with the Bharatiya Janata Party for the welfare of Punjab, then we will have no problem. The common Sikh should also not have any objection. All Sikhs should support us. We do not seek power for political ambition but for the welfare of Punjab."
